Prof. Kirwan's Article on Breast Auto-Augmentation has been officially accepted for publication by the Canadian Journal of Plastic Surgery dated: 15th August, 2006, to be published in due course.

In the Fairfield County Weekly "Best of Fairfield Readers" Poll 2003 Prof. Kirwan was voted the Best Plastic Surgeon in Fairfield County.

Prof. Kirwan has described two breast procedures Simultaneous AreolarMastopexy/Breast Augmentation (the SAMBA™ procedure), is a technique to lift and enlarge breasts that have fallen after pregnancy, breast feeding, weight loss, or just as part of their natural development. This technique has a minimal incision around the areola at the junction of the pigmented and normal skin and places the implant behind the muscle, giving more support and returning the breast to its "normal" position.

The other breast procedure developed by Prof. Kirwan is Breast Auto-augmentation.
